Orakei Basin Residence
Terraced native courtyard, timber pergola & basalt water rill
Gardens grounded in light, season, and the quiet rhythm of home.
Aevorintha Lessa shapes considered outdoor sanctuaries across New Zealand, bridging contemporary architectural living with resilient native and cultivated plant communities.
Studio Philosophy
We believe every garden must begin with quiet observation — listening to coastal winds, ancient soil profiles, and the natural fall of light before a single line is drawn. Our practice creates enduring outdoor living spaces that deepen your connection to place, celebrate New Zealand’s native flora, and mature with effortless grace.

Begin A Conversation
Let us shape an outdoor setting that belongs quietly and completely to your home.
Garden Design in Aotearoa
A garden shaped by place, not fashion.
Every garden begins with the particular character of its setting: its soil, daily light and the way people move through it. Our garden plans favour climate-aware planting, practical circulation and spaces that become richer with time.
Whether you have a compact urban garden or a generous coastal property, we approach garden design as a collaboration between landscape, architecture and everyday life. See our projects or share the garden you have in mind.
